A Telemetry System is ideal for both the rural community and local government authorities. It provides a very affordable means of remote control and status monitoring.
A Telemetry System can eliminate the need for personnel to make time consuming visits to outlying stations. It allows the user to send commands to outstations 24 hours a day and to carry out immediate or polled status interrogation of equipment or environments.
Changes in the status of monitored parameters or equipment can be programmed to instantly activate visual and audible alarms at the Base Station.
Examples of typical applications for a Telemetry System:
- Switching Pumps or Irrigation systems ON & OFF.
- Starting Generators and monitoring Temperatures, Pressures and Voltages etc.
- Monitoring Dam and Tank levels.
